Icon Design is a coffee, chocolate, and Szechuan pepper-powered graphic communications and marketing studio founded by Pamela Myhre in 1993. Icon offers professional design, website development, and copywriting services for corporate and institutional clients. Project experience in all types of visual communication, including identity programs, marketing collateral, publishing, advertising, architectural signing, exhibits, website design, e-commerce and print graphics.
Icon offers an alternative to larger advertising agencies, offering an approach that’s more personal, cost-conscious and frankly a lot more fun.
Pamela Myhre graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Houston in 1992, and founded Icon Design in 1993. Icon has served local, regional and national clients over the last 28 years. Pamela has served as project lead on accounts as varied as Central District Health, Habitat for Humanity, Erstad Architects, Sun Valley Writers’ Conference, the State of Idaho Judicial Branch, Adam West Enterprises, and Downtown Public Parking System. Pamela has stewarded Icon through steady growth from a one-woman studio to a firm with a collaborative team of talented individuals who are passionate about their work.
Pamela is a proud supporter of the graphic design program at Boise State University. She was lucky to have been happily married for 32 years and has a 28 year old son. She enjoys Latin dancing, skiing, reading, music, and travel.
Tanveer Morshed was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1996. Tanveer has worked as an IT specialist and web developer since 2002. He worked at WMI Shops, where he was in charge of developing and maintaining multi-store front e-commerce systems. Tanveer acquired extensive experience developing and maintaining e-commerce sites and MySQL databases at Woodland Manufacturing before joining Icon Design in 2008.
To stay current with the latest industry standards and practices in this rapidly changing field, Tanveer continues to conduct research and attend online seminars. He has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management with a minor in Computer Science from Boise State University. He is a newlywed who enjoys cricket, racquetball, squash, hiking, and snowboarding.
Ben Rodgers moved to Idaho in 2003 from Crestview Florida. He has been interested in web development and design from a young age and started working with various forms of web programming at 12 years old. He completed his Associates Degree in Website Development from College of Western Idaho in the Spring of 2016. Ben has also earned several certifications including MTA for SQL Database Administration Fundamentals and the NOCTI Web Designer/ Developer certification.
Ben has been working with Icon Design since 2015, working as project lead on the responsive redevelopment of Central District Health Department’s website among many others.
Ben enjoys comics, music, tinkering, camping, and spending time with his wife.
Daniel is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) who has worked for over 3 years with Icon Design as a web security analyst responsible for auditing the security posture of client websites. He also has over 6 years of experience in independent software development, leading multiple open-source offensive security projects and collaborating with other developers around the world. Daniel studied Business Finance and Computer Science at the University of San Diego, where he worked as a financial analyst intern at a private equity firm, HCAP Partners.
To stay ahead of the newest strategies and techniques used by malicious actors online, Daniel devotes time out of work to obtaining professional certifications in cyber security. He enjoys playing basketball and working out. Daniel is a Boise native who is a lifelong skier, camper, and fisherman.
Camille DeGabrielle graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014 with a BFA in Industrial Design. Industrial Design encompasses everything from packaging, graphics, prototyping to 3D modeling.
Learning how to dive into a foreign topic and learn everything there is to know about it was the most important lesson learned from SCAD’s Industrial Design program. Camille has been lucky enough to work with Icon on various projects since 2017.
Aside from design, she is an Idaho Native who takes every opportunity to be outdoors, and who loves to travel. Sustainability and fine arts are growing interests for Camille.
Madina Khodjanyazova has worked with Icon Design since 2015 as a graphic designer and social media associate. Madina updates and maintains several WordPress websites, maintains clients’ social media accounts, and works on a wide variety of graphic design projects.
She graduated from Boise State University with a BFA in Graphic Design with an emphasis on UX Design. Madina continues to study online to stay abreast of the lastest user interface and design trends.
Madina was born in Uzbekistan and moved to Idaho in 2008. She is fluent in Russian and loves playing piano.
Pam Cameron has worked with Icon Design since 2019 as our business manager and technology specialist. Pam manages Icon’s bookkeeping. She works as well with a wide variety of graphic and website design projects. Her areas of expertise include information systems, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.
Pam has worked in higher education for over 20 years. She is currently teaching Mandarin Chinese at the high school level in Vancouver as well as continuing utilizing her computer and business skills with Icon Design.
Pam was born in Taiwan and moved to Idaho in 1998. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and loves cooking and traveling.
